This will be in Browns Bay so is almost on our back doorstep!! All of the Ucan2 Dancesport Athletes are planning to compete. Many of the less experienced have already put their names down for the Partnership Excluded events. Let’s make this a great start to our competition year. Please come along, bring your friends. There was a good turnout for our free intro night on Friday 30 March. As always, there was a lucky draw. Congratulations to Tyron Layerwall who was the winner of an absolutely free Beginners Ballroom & Latin American Course. We look forward to seeing you in class really soon Tyron.
This week is the last for term one which means that classes which run by the term will have a break. The last classes are on Thursday 05 April. The new term starts on Tuesday 24 April.
Classes that run by the term are:
Bronze, Silver and Gold Medal Classes
Training Squad
Kids & Teens Beginner and Intermediate classes
All other classes continue without a break. These incude:
Adult Social Ballroom & Latin American Beginners (Wednesday / Friday)
Adult Social Ballroom & Latin American Intermediate (Wednesday / Friday)
Adult Social Ballroom & Latin American Advanced (Tuesday)
Performance Practice for Training Squad will continue on Wednesdays and Sundays through the holidays (excluding Easter Sunday). Casual rate will apply for these sessions.
Just a reminder that there will be no classes on Good Friday and the studio will be closed from Friday 06 – Monday 09 April inclusive.
The next Free Introduction to our Adult Beginners & Intermediate Ballroom & Latin American Courses for this year is next Friday (March 30). Beginners 7.30pm, Intermediate 8.30pm.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy a free lesson and perhaps book in for our April classes.
Bring your friends, family, neighbours, work-mates to join in the class and learn a few steps.
We will show you exactly what you would learn during the Beginners Course and give you a head start on some of the Beginners routines. The Intermediate lesson will be an opportunity to learn two short but complete Intermediate routines, and to get a feel for our Intermediate Courses.
All who attend and register on the night receive a 10% discount and one person in the Beginners Class will win a free course in our lucky draw. Just do it!

Exciting news! More news to come! There will be workshops and private lessons with Luca Bussoletti (World Professional 10 Dance Champion) and Stefan Green (World Professional Latin American finalist). All dancers welcome – we already have a contingent planning to come from Wellington!
