These are definitely the questions that we are asked most:
Q: Do I need a partner?
A: No. Both ladies and gentlemen often come on their own. You will be asked to partner up. We also change partners during the class. However we can’t promise that you will not have to dance alone sometimes.
Q: Do we have to change partners?
A: Not if you really don’t want to! An important part of learning to dance is learning to ‘drive a new model’. However, if you prefer, you may stay together.
Q: What should I wear and what about my feet?
A: Wear something comfortable – you are likely to get a bit hot. Shoes that stay on your feet are all that’s required at Beginner level.
Q: What if I haven’t done any dancing before?
A: That’s what our Beginners’ course is for. The classes are aimed at those who have never danced before. Find out more about our range of dance classes.
