For those who wish to take their dancing to new levels. Two terms are required to get ready for your medal test. You will learn the routines in the first term (Term 1 & 3) and the polishing will be done in the second term (Term 2 & 4). The tests are at the end of Term 2 and Term 4.
Two medal sessions each year with visiting Examiners
In 2010 there will also be medal tests at the end of terms 1 and 3 for Elementary medals.
Bronze Medal Class
Preparation for Advanced Bronze medals in Ballroom & Latin American (separate classes).
Silver Medal Classes
Preparation for BAdvanced Silver Medals and Silver Bars. Separate classes for Ballroom & Latin American.
Learn routines in Waltz, Tango, Slow Foxtrot, Quickstep and Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Jive at a technical level. 3 dances are required for Silver medals and 4 for Silver Bars.
Gold Medal Classes
Preparation for Advanced Gold Medals, Gold Bars, etc in Ballroom and Latin American. Separate classes for Ballroom & Latin American. Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive and Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Slow Foxtrot, Quickstep at a higher technical level. 4 dances are required for Gold & Bars, 5 dances for Gold Star & higher.
