Step 1: Beginners' Ballroom & Latin American Dance CourseYou learn to dance to all rhythms. 8 week course. You will learn the basic steps in Cha Cha, Samba, Salsa, Rock 'n' Roll, Foxtrot & Waltz.
New Beginners Courses start on the first Wednesday and Friday of each month. You may come to either - or both if you want extra practice! Enrolment is essential. Course fee only, no casual rate.

Step 2: Intermediate Stage 18 week course. You will continue learning more adventurous steps in the dances you learnt in the Beginners' Course. A new course starts each month. It is recommended that you pay for a course, but a casual rate is available. Enquire at reception whether the class is Wednesday or Friday as it will change sometimes.
Step 3: Intermediate Stage 2This is where the fun begins! Tango, Quickstep, Rumba and Jive are introduced at a basic level. A new course starts each month. It is recommended that you pay for a course, but a casual rate is available. Enquire at reception whether the class is Wednesday or Friday as it will change sometimes.
Step 4: Advanced + MedalThis class will prepare for Elementary medals (Bronze, Silver & Gold). Participation in the tests is not compulsory though we will encourage you to 'be brave'. The class will run for a term. It is only possible to join this class at the beginning of each term - if you wish to join after commencement you will require private lessons to catch you up to the class before joining in.
You are welcome to join in Beginners & Intermediate classes at no extra charge - we really appreciate your 'help' with those less experienced.
Terms 1 & 3 dances: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep.
Terms 2 & 4 dances: Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Jive.
Step 5: Medal ClassesMedal classes are for all ages. Children, Youth, Adults & Seniors all work together at a technical level.
Bronze Medal Class - preparing for Advanced Bronze medals in Ballroom & Latin American. (Separate Ballroom & Latin class)
Silver Medal Class- preparing for Advanced Silver Medals and Silver Bars in Ballroom & Latin American. (Separate Ballroom & Latin class).
Gold Medal Class - preparing for Advanced Gold Medals and Gold Bars in Ballroom and Latin American. (Separate Ballroom & Latin class) Participation in holiday and mini workshops is strongly recommended where possible.
As a general rule, for all Advanced Medals, a minimum of two terms will be required.
Term fee only - no casual rate. No classes in holidays.
Medal class members may join Social classes at no charge during term time only. During school holidays, casual rates apply.
